1978 Ford F-250 Description:
You are looking at a 1978 Ford F250 Crew Cab 4x4 with a 351 with a automatic transmission. This truck gets allot of attention everywhere we drive it. This truck that is not only fun to drive but is a great conversation piece everywhere you go with it. If you like talking with people about a classic crew cab truck then this is the truck for you !!!! The only reason the truck is up for sale is I am in the process of finishing up a business deal and have to part with a few of my trucks. The mechanical part of this truck is in great shape with a 351 V8 with a rare automatic transmission. All the lights work on the truck. The odometer and speedometer do not work. There is no smoke or rattles from the engine. This truck has power steering and power brakes. We have put about 100 miles on it and it runs down the road 60 mph. The 4x4 works just like it should. The tires are old and need replaced. The inside of the truck is needing attention. With a little work could be driver quality. There is no carpet or headliner board as seen in pics. The windows all roll up and down. The Dash pad has a few cracks. The door panels don't all match. The truck has a great appearance from 20 ft but up close it does have dents, dings, scratches that are consistent with a truck of this age. No roof Rust !!! does have some small bubbles on the door.. Cab mounts and bottom side of the truck look great, except for one spot that is photographed (circled in white). It is located on the drivers front floorboard and is an easy fix. Overall a very solid truck and would be perfect to fix up as you go, or enjoy like it is.
