1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Description:

If Mad Max had a 1970 Mach 1 it would be like this.
This thing is loud and fast, it has a ton of go fast goodies on it, most definitely more money spent on aftermarket parts and rebuilt motor than what this listing will sell for. I bought it recently and it just is more of a project than I have time for. Here are some specs
rebuilt 351w roller block and cam, ported afr 195 heads edelbrock intake, holly carb with electric choke, Oil pan with oil cooler plumbed in, serpentine belt.
Transmission tremec TKO 5 speed heavy duty transmission, cable clutch and hurst shifter, modern driveline kevlar clutch
9 inch rearend hardened axles, 3.73 gears eaton posi
new fuel tank, braided lines, aeromotive pump and filter
new wiring kit installed
Brakes, willwood disks all the way around 13 inches in front 9 in rear, stainless lines
Suspension, global west front and rear. watts link on rear, aluminum rear bushings, afco shocks. Front is tubular upper arms and boxed lowers. Koni shocks etc.
steering tcp rack and pinion, bumpsteer kit.
6 point roll cage connected supported well goes into subframe rails and has subframe connectors 5 point harness
perfect fit AC kit, underdash parts are installed but not engine parts, they are included in a box.
now the not so good, all the parts are there but the car needs to be sorted out. For instance I went to get the car aligned and afterwords was test driving it and the lower part of the radiator was not secured so it went into the fan. It has new aftermarket motor mounts so the motor did not move. I did put a spare radiator I had here in, I don't think its to the task long term. It has an aftermarket quality wiring kit that probably needs some more attention. There are some things that are done for performance which may be over kill, for instance the oil cooler is mounted in such a way that you cant use the normal hood latch so you have to use the hood pins, and you can't install the front grille The fuel pump is loud, I would ditch the oil cooler and go back to a standard fuel pump. The exhaust is stainless and dumps before the axle. It was loose and disconnected when I got it, I put it back in place and tacked it but in needs some attention to fit properly. It does have an x pipe and sounds amazing.
The rust, its very savable and not that bad, you east coast guys would consider it pretty rust free lol. The doors are rusted out, torque boxes and rails are good, the floors need to be replaced, new ones were put in, over the old ones...... quarter panels could be patched they are not too bad. It needs some attention.
What you see is what you get, there are alot of misc and new aftermarket random parts in the boxes. I do not have the rest of the rocker molding just the one piece that is still on the car.
Ultimately its whatever you want to be, but with a little time and small amount of money you could tighten up the loose ends and have a really tough scare the neighbors fun and mean car.
Happy bidding.
