Up for auction is this outstanding 1948 Ford Tudor Sedan. This vehicle received a professional,no expense spared frame-off restoration in 2008 starting with a solid,dry rust-free original,unmolested tudor. The 85hp flathead was totally rebuilt to stock specs along with the three speed transmission. As part of the restoration the electrical system was upgraded to 12 volts along with a Mallory electronic ignition.The stock radio has also been converted to function on 12 volts. All mechanical components were either rebuilt or replaced with new during the resto. Custom dual exhaust help the super smooth flathead purr really nice.Every piece of trim was either restored or replaced.Basically every aspect of thisvery outstanding vehicle was restored to high quality standards. Has a beautiful,glowing urethane finish with all excellent body lines/gaps and super straight panels.The doors,hood and trunk close and fit just as nice as a new Mercedes. This Ford drives,accelerates and stops correctly with not a rattle or squeak to be found.It really is a pleasure to drive this one.Approx. 5k miles have been put on since restoration.If you are looking for one of the nicest 1948 Fords around than look no further.You will be hard pressed to find one as outstanding as this.
