1971 Ford F-250 Camper Special
Standard Cab Pickup
BODY TYPE
1971 Ford F-250 Description:
He kept having problems trying to keep this vehicle running. He put an aftermarket electric fuel pump on it, messed with the carb, etc. He had cranked on it so much the starter was shot; I had a new starter put in it. It is need of a new battery. What the real problem with the truck all along was, is that the wire in the distributor would short out when it would advance and die. We got that fixed and it runs great. I drove it down the road,. It needs a muffler, it's pretty loud. This person tried maintaining his truck and he just was not a mechanic. I was told it has a 360 engine in it. Fires up great. I think the choke could use some adjustment. The tranny seems to shift better than average, doesn’t appear to smoke. Has a 4 core heavy duty radiator, power steering, power brakes, a cargo light, windshield washer. Doors work great. Headlights, marker lights and reflectors are all in tact; not cracked or broken. F-250 camper special.
