1937 Ford 5 Window Coupe Henry Steel

Viva Las Vegas Autos Presents . . .

This all Henry Steel 1937 Ford 5 Window Coupe. Fully modified and super rare all metal body. When you see the list of the build, you will instantly understand that you are looking at the car you want in your collection. This is not your average build, nor is it a cheaper fiberglass knock-off of the originals. This is the original Henry Steel Coupe and the history behind the build is worthy of your attention. Read on buyer!

Viva Las Vegas Autos Known History . . .

The history that we have is simple documented story of one man's love affair with his car; and like most "Love Affairs" this one cost him dearly. The builder bought this car as a very straight and rust free original car back in September 2000. Looks like it sat in his garage until he began his project in in 2003 and invested 196 hours that year. In 2004, he spent 88 hours that year, 2005 he spent 351 hours then the "Love Affair" got more serious and in 2006 he spent 1146 hours on the car. By the end of 2007, he finally finish his project and spent 864 final hours for a total project build of 2645 hours. So before we even get to the parts and money he invested, even at a cheap shop rate $55 hour, that's $132,250 and he added up his build receipts to nearly $50k not including the wheels and tires now on the car. So math and hours don't lie, you are looking at a custom all steel Henry 5 window Coupe that nearly broke $200,000. Especially if you consider today's normal shop rates and the cost of materials 10-15 years later. So when you look at the pictures very carefully as you are deciding you want a car just like this, or pretty darn near and then think about the time and money it'll take you to build yours or have it built. Think about the time you'll be staring at it in some garage as you are getting older by the minute and all the time you won't be driving it with your family and loved ones. Then hit the "Bid Now" button and just accept that you'll be able to pay thousands less that building your own and you can be driving it as soon as you pay for it. Now we are talking your language, right? Well bid silly and don't be a low baller dreamer thinking you can get this car for nothing. Bidding silly money is what most eBay bidders do with no real intention of every buying their dream cars. So don't pay attention to their dumb low bids, bid some real money if you want something this nice and rare. Best part seriously; you won't pay anywhere near what it took the builder to build this great ride. All the fun right now and tons of cash gets to stay in your pockets.
Viva Las Vegas Autos Preparations . . .

So there are the particulars about this car. My local owners are serious car collectors. They bought this car a few years ago and barely drove it 500 miles. So when they contact me to sell it for them, The first thing I had done was drain the tank and fill it with good gas. Check out are the components to make sure they all worked and gave it a great detail top to bottom. Didn't need much and I sure hope it's new buyer gets excited about driving this great car...because it truly is a great ride. Read the list of items that went into building this car and I am sure you will agree that this build was something special and you want this ride for yourself now. Well, I wish you luck on bidding to win. If the reserve isn't met when you see the auction, that's because someone like you hasn't bid enough to own it. If you send me an email asking for my "bottom line" or the "lowest I'll take" I'll reach through this computer and bitch slap you because that's the dumbest question ever. Make me your best offer! It'll either hit the reserve or it won't and you'll know you can't buy it because the auctions will tell you so. If you hit the reserve then you'll know my bottom line now won't you? If you want me to sell the car to you after you've hit the reserve, don't expect me to do that at your current bid since eBay's wonderful system only puts you $100 higher than the last bidder...another reason I just love selling here on eBay. There way of keeping profitable margins to a bare minimum. But, I have a solution for you. If you want me to close the auction at any time during the auction, I can make it happen with you as the high bidder at an agreed upon offer. So here is how you make that happen. PHONE CALL...you heard me...Pick up you heavy cell phone, dial 7 0 2 3 5 3 7 5 0 0 and let me answer with my kind voice and we will have a conversation about your intent to offer and buy. I will help you make that happen on eBay too. Been doing this for almost two decades on eBay so I know it works. It just doesn't ever work by just emails...so call. You'll be glad you did.

    Cheers

Viva Las Vegas Autos Note from the Owner. . .

I am a "used car dealer" but before that, I'm an automobile enthusiast. I love original, rare and high quality modified vintage and modern cars. Over the past 15 years I've been in business, I have come to appreciate an expanding selection of high-demand, high value vehicles as well. I specialize in and I am always on the lookout for cars and trucks that were cherished by their previous owners.

I have an experienced eye for quality and I've discovered that my preferred buyers can instantly discern such a vehicle and I have therefore, built my business and reputation around finding these kinds of cars for this type of customer.Super low miles and/or gentle ownership are strict requirements but a car must do something for me on a personal level if there is any hope of convincing you, the buyer, that this is an above average, exceptional vehicle. If nothing about the car excites me, it probably won't do much for you either and I would soon be out of business.

With just four employees and no sales people, I realize how unusual a "dealership" like mine may be at a first glance. It has taken great care and effort to create such an organization and often, an unusually high investment in a particular car we are about to list. To sell the best it is critical to have a trusted expert in my corner. First we do an exhaustive 130 point inspection on each and every vehicle and hope nothing escapes our methodical investigation. Experience has shown that everything I spend making a car truly "right" will come back to me not only with a higher selling price, but a happy customer that says good things about Viva Las Vegas Autos. Moreover; it allows us to describe the car with ease and confidence, something that simply is not possible unless we think it is true. If major issues are found or the cost of fixing the car the way it should be makes it too expensive to sell, my choice is an easy one. I simply absorb a few hundred dollars loss for my trouble and sell it at auction so you don't get a headache over the vehicle.

After the vehicle is fully checked over and made whole at any level it needs to be, we researches its history, documents documenting originality and authenticity. Historical significance, rarity, special features, possible modifications and much more are used to accurately describe the vehicle with integrity and honesty. Most important for the potential buyer are the 100 to 200 high resolution pictures that I take myself. The pricey equipment I use would be right at home in the hands of the very best professional photographers and I've developed a logical format that walks you around the entire vehicle with close-up shots of every square inch. I provide detailed views of the interior, under the hood and then put it on a lift to show the undercarriage and confirm that the beauty of the car you are considering is not merely skin deep. Even our detailers are enthusiastic about the cars they meticulously clean. Reconditioning can sometimes take several as we do all that we can within reason to get our vehicles in tip top condition visually and cosmetically. Way more than just a cheap detail....Our details are more like refurbishing to as close to new as we can possibly get our vehicles

Usually, I'll also include a high definition video that shows the car doing its thing. If it's a fast car, we film it going fast. If it's a 4x4 you'll see it crawling up a hill. In every case you will hear things like a rumbling exhaust, working sound system and watch gauges operational as well.

No "dealer, "? on-line or in the real world, takes it to this level. No other seller or organization provides you, the buyer, with so much information. I do this because it is the only way I can convince a person; often a world away, unable to touch or feel their purchase that my vehicle is for real and what I say is an honest assessment. All the above is necessary for me to stay in business while keeping integrity intact.I want every buyer to be happy and I need glowing feedback on eBay. To accomplish that I need satisfied customers that are as thrilled with their purchase as I was when I bought it.

If you have any questions at all, please call me on my cell at: 702-353-7500. If your inquiry is sincere and your offerserious, you'll find me the most accommodating business partner you've ever dealt with. If you call or e-mail asking for my reserve or "what is my bottom line" I will be looking for ways to politely end the conversation. Until you are ready to actually make an offer, I will happily quote you a liberal suggested retail price - a number we both know will not buy the car so, don't waste your time, or mine. I am after all, a "used car dealer.”
