1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe, 289 v8, automatic transmission, mostly everything is original, runs and drives well, shifts perfectly, vehicle is registered and insured and driven regularly, factory muffler was taken off and a Jegs glass pack was put in its place, sounds mean, new water pump, new alternator, new heater core, newer distributor rebuild including electronic ignition, new belt, brakes work well, manual brakes and manual steering, baby moon hub caps along with factory hub caps, this vehicle is completely factory for the most part, it is an unusually solid body, really good driver, paint is original, never had any Bondo filler to hide rot, floors are rot free and really solid, trunk and quarter panels are rot free and really solid, the original spare tire is in the trunk along with original jack, tires are all in really good shape, interior is in good shape. I have the original owners manual and some original purchase documents from the dealer when new. I have a title from the previous owner but I never turned it in when I registered it in my name because my state doesn't give you a replacement title for vehicles prior to 2001. I installed seatbelts in the rear seats because they did not come with them from the factory as it was an option for 65 not standard. Some minor things here and there but otherwise very fun to drive and not have to worry about someone scratching it. Perfect restoration canidate or leave it alone and enjoy. Comes with clutch and brake pedal assembly for 65 fairlane to convert to manual transmission in the future. And it being a sports coupe, the auto shifter is on the floor already so converting would be a snap for anyone with even moderate mechcanical ability.
