This gorgeous 1956 Ford Fairlane restomod is a great example of why the classic car hobby will always be alive, well and fun to be a part of. This classic not only features a 302 V8, killer paint scheme and a custom interior, but it also has a Ford AOD 4-speed automatic transmission, fuel injeciton, power steering, power brakes, tilt, and Vintage A/C... All of that for under $27k? You couldn't come close to building this car for that price!... It starts with the body that features a gorgeous two-tone paint job of blue and silver. The body lines are awesome on the '56 and this paint job brings it to the next level. If you look closely you'll see the bottom of the doors do have some bubbling coming up, but it doesn't seem to continue on the fenders or the quarters. So if you decided to fix it, it appears like you'll only be painting the bottom of the door. If it was us, we would just leave it. The paint shows extremely nice and the beauty of this car is you can drive it, enjoy it and not have to feel guilty if you get caught in a rain storm. Pop open the hood and you'll unveil a very well detailed engine bay that slams a 351 V8 with plenty of chrome. A top the engine bay you'll see a chrome air filter, but just under that you'll notice the fuel injection that isn't your typical throttle body style setup. No this has runners like a modern LS motor and the result is turn the key and let the fuel pump build up pressure and then it fires up reliably every time. The engine bay also houses an aluminum radiator, vintage A/C, power steering and power brakes. Bolted to the engine is a Ford AOD transmission that allows this classic to be enjoyed on the open highway with ease. Pop open the doors and take a glance at the bucket power driver's seat, tilt wheel, upgraded autometer gauges and the killer look of the blue and silver theme continued.
