Up for auction is this cool little Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe. The car was taken apart in 2009 -the frame cleaned and painted, body painted and sanded to create a very cool patina. Area spots on the body had new panels installed and is 100% solid. The brakes were updated to hydraulic, which is a spendy procedure. Wildwood master cylinder & all new hydraulic brake lines. The hubs on the front are '46 Ford and the rear are '40 Ford. Brand new Coker Classic 6.5 x 16" tires. Engine had in excess of $4K parts and labor to rebuild. Lead babbitts are new.(very spendy also). 1500 miles put on since rebuild, 1200 which I have driven daily for past 6 wks. And have not had any issues at all during this period. I confidently jump in and go with no worries. It handles nice with a lot of pep, good road manners & brakes stop the car excellent. The car has been converted to a 12 volt so the engine turns over fast when starting and headlights are nice & bright with new 12 volt halogen bulbs. The glass is all nice. The windows roll up and down good. The doors align & open & close good. The vinyl top is new as is with a new wood kit installed. The interior is southwest motif with brand new interior panel kit included to complete with your choice of material. I like it the way it is. The rumble seat area has original material on the sea t bottom. A book of receipts will come with the car to confirm and document everything that has been done. Way too much to list here.
