We have been working on, rebuilding, restoring classic American muscle cars for 35 years. We do this as a hobby because we love cars. Today we are listing a few that we have completed and are ready for their new homes. This is a 1964 Galaxie 500XL 2 door hardtop. The car sports the original color combination of Black and white and is truly a stunning example of Fords beautiful lines back in the 60's. This is the one to have if you cant afford a 427 car. This car is an X code and we have changed out the original 352 for a fresh 410 (Bored 390). The engine has been COMPLETELY gone through and we have added a few upgrades to make the engine run better and faster. The ignition has been upgraded to electronic so the old points system was ditched. A new aluminum intake and a new Holley Carb was installed. This car runs like a dream! The next cool change was to add the 4speed transmission. This was all done FACTORY correct with every piece from a 1964 Galaxie. It came out beautiful. The shifter is a HURST competition plus specifically for this model car. This shifter is no longer being made by Hurst but we dug this one up from a collector brand new and installed it. What an upgrade. This car shifts like a brand new Mustang! The car is super clean and ALL new. Tires, brakes, exhaust, interior, you name it and it has been replaced. We are meticulous when it comes to restoring these classic Fords. With the purchase of this car you will have the choice of three different wheel and tire combinations to choose from. These are all brand new sets. You can choose the polished slots with the white letter tires. We also have a brand new set of chrome reverse wheels with blackwall tires, or you can go with the factory correct steel wheels with the original XL hub caps. You make the call! This car came from a collector up in Michigan who owned it for a very long time and kept it inside and saved it from the elements. It was a very nice car to start with and only has 82,000 miles! This is the main reason we restored it. These are not found every day and it was a no brainer to get this one back to show room condition, bid early and often and own this gorgeous Galaxie so that you are the envy of everyone at the next car show you attend! |
