1971 Ford Bronco utility Description:

Has been stored and not driven for roughly 24 years. I have done some restoration, but just have no more time and place to do work. Bought new by my father.

302 Windser V-8. Has 37000 miles on it since complete rebuild (not short block). Engine starts and runs very well. Does not burn oil, and no smoke whatsoever. Video available of engine running in idle. Has had recent oil and filter change (Castrol GTX 10-40). Original distributor, with points. I am including two xenon type timing lights with this auction. One is fully functional.

Carter AFB carburetor, with “Carter strip kit”. Linkage, while functional, should be checked and replaced if warn.

Interior headliner is weathered and needs to be repaired/replaced.

Starter (Ford original) replaced approximately 8 months before placed in storage.

Clutch replaced approximately 12 months before stored. Works well.

Ramsey winch is original, and worked well when last used. Bumper steel does have some rust. Winch has not been used since being stored. Electric – not PTO. Includes hand control and documentation.

KC Off Road lamps (150 watt each) included with covers.

Near new wind shield.

Brakes functional, but need to be bled and serviced. Bronco should not be driven on public roads/ highways until brakes are serviced! Emergency brake non-functional due to front floor rust. Head lamp dimmer switch also not mounted due to rust of front floor board.

Power steering is functional (not original). Occasional slight hesitation.

Tailgate functional, but has significant rust damage.

Side doors are loose and need work. Rubber door and vent seals should be replaced.

Front seats are not original. No rear bench seat. Seat belts do function, but should be refurbished/ replaced.

Radio is original. Was working well, but seems to now have connection issue. Antenna still completely intact.

Standard 3 speed transmission shifter (“3 on the tree”). Functions, but very limber.

Transmission seems to be good, with gear lube changed approximately 4 months before storage.

Transfer case seems to be good, with gear lube changed approximately 4 months before storage.

Differentials (front and rear) seem to be in good shape, with gear lube changed approximately 10 months before storage.

Driveshafts and U Joints seem to be in good shape, with greasing approximately 3 months before storage.

I am including one Bronco pick up cab and bulkhead with auction. Both came used, off of another 1971 Bronco. These both have minor scrapes and dents and need to be reworked and painted.

Both fuel tanks have old fuel remnants in them, and should probably be flushed.

Side view mirrors both original and intact, but are weathered/warn.

Rear wheel mud guards (original) included. These were removed in order to sand blast and repaint rusted areas.

Various body dents, scrapes, and similar signs of damage.

Swing away spare tire carrier, with spare tire (shown as removed for storage).

Complete set of new Motorcraft spark plugs.

Pioneer Supertuner and audio equalizer – last known to be working.

Original paint. Has sure signs of age/wear.

Front doors are warn, loose, and do not close well, partly due to frame rust. Door windows function, but need felt seals replaced.

Dash board (black) is in fare shape, with small crack in center.

If carrier arrives asking us for any payment, they will be turned away, and told to bill you, the winning buyer, for their time and travel. No Exceptions.

Once all payment obligations have been met, we will be available to assist carrier with accessing and loading vehicle. Local pick up can be arranged.
