Own a piece of Fox Mustang history with this lovingly maintained two owner 1990 "7-UP" Limited Edition Mustang LX convertible. Ford's Limited Edition Mustang for 1990 began as a marketing vehicle for a joint NCAA/7-UP soda contest that was cancelled at the last minute. Ford decided to build the cars anyway and Mustang enthusiasts clamor for these special models to this day. Ford built 4,103 of them, 2,743 with the AOD four-speed automatic overdrive, and 1,360 with the T-5 five-speed manual transmission. This unit, VIN 1FACP44ELF156833, is one of the AOD cars. The Limited Edition models feature an exclusive Deep Emerald Green metallic clearcoat paint, an all white leather interior (including full white dash and console, door panels, etc. unlike other white interior Mustangs that would have lower gray trim/console), white top, and the Mustang GT's 15-slot "turbine" wheels. This particular car has had a mild restoration performed, including all-new and correct leather interior from TMI Products, a full repaint of the exterior (no collision damage, just sun faded and failing clearcoat). The 5.0L V-8 and AOD transmission have 143,050 miles on them, all adult driven and maintained with NO performance modifications. The A/C system blows ice cold thanks to a Classic Auto Air R134a conversion. Top is in excellent shape and seals well and goes up and down with ease. All of the original paper work (window sticker, owner's manual, warranty identification card, key tags and extended service plan card) come with the car. Own a piece of late-model Mustang history! Minor detailing/cleaning will have this desirable LX Mustang ready for the show field or drive it as is and enjoy the ride with the top up and A/C cranked, or the top down and the wind in your hair! This was was my daily driver until 11-2012 when I purchased a new Mustang convertible, took off the road an brought it back to its original condition. You can take this car and drive it anywhere.
