1962 FORD THUNDERBIRD CONVERTIBLE - NO RESERVE
I purchased this vehicle in 2008 with 58,000 original miles on it and since that time we have only put 405 additional miles on the car. I have recently downsized by garage to a smaller building so I am thinning the herd. Most of the miles were put on when I initially bought the car and it has been driven very little in the past several years.
When I bought the vehicle we put in a new interior kit, trunk kit, re-chromed both the front and rear bumpers, repainted the engine compartment and the rear deck lid. It had aftermarket wheels so we installed original equipment Kelsey Hayes wires and new tires. In 2017 we installed a new convertible top and back window with the intention of selling it then but my wife talked me out of it at that time.
As mentioned, I would classify this car as driver quality but the car really presents itself very well. In my opinion this era of Thunderbird was an absolutely beautiful car. It runs, drives and stops good. The drivers side power seat does not work and the power windows are a little slow. The car is solid and there is little or no rust. The floors and trunk are solid.Original factory equipment includes power windows, power driver seat, power steering, power brakes, power convertible top, and push button radio.
