1940 Ford Deluxe Description:
This is a 1940 Ford Deluxe Sedan that I am listing for a good friend that has decide to sell from his collection. I will describe the vehicle the best to my knowledge. The car was bought about 3-4 years ago and was not driven much, we recently pulled it out and got it in running condition and driving.
Chassis - Completely stock from what I see, the undercarriage is Very Clean!! all painted!! Steers extremely well and brakes work like they should. Undercarriage is done in my opinion for a nice driver! Stock wheels and Good tires (like new) the center caps need attention as they have dings and dents.
Body - Very Straight from what I see and no filler from what I was told itwas painted about 3-4 years ago it does have a few chips but nothing bad and good for a driver! All Trim looks really good the front grill does have some minor pitting nothing bad. All Glass is good and work like they should except for the rt rear passenger glass need some attend when rolling down. Still has the original Interior, Floor pans look solid, needs carpeting and Headliner.
Engine - Super Nice running Flathead with recent Rebuild and nice speed Equipment, Navarro Heads (rare) and I believe edelbrock intake. It does have a mild cam and sounds really Nice!!! We drove the car around and it runs super nice and handles the road well. But I still think itcould use some fine tuning because of it sitting. I do have the cam specs if you need to see them.
The Wiring on the car is old in some places it needs to be rewired at some point I am including a new E Z Wiring kit. All lightswork, most gauges work some still need attention.I would saythere area few bugsfrom sitting that will need attention.
