1966 Ford Mustang Description:

This car has been stored in a garage for the last 20 years. V8/289 Automatic. The optional Premium interior (not the Pony) including console needs some paint work and seat covers repairs. The seat frames are solid. There is a NEW headliner that needs installed. The body is quite solid for a 52-year-old. The floors need some repairs and NEW rear floor pans are included and ready to install under the NEW carpet. ALL frame rails are SOLID and in GOOD shape. There is very minor rust near the battery, but no panels need replaced unless you are only taking the car to shows. The trunk floor is solid except for a small area near the tail panel. There are previous repairs (I'm guessing 25-30 years ago, not classic car quality) on the bottom rear of the quarter panels and heels of the fenders. The rear wheelhouses are very solid. The front inner aprons are solid with none of the usual holes near the shock tower. The upper and lower cowl appear to be in good shape. All body panels appear to be original except for the left door, fortunately the VIN tag was retained. The previous owner replaced shocks, removed and cleaned the gas tank, replaced the radiator, and went over the brakes (which are spongy right now). It could be a daily driver with maintenance of the tires, brakes and exhaust. At this point it is a survivor car. It all depends on how far you want to take it.
