1984 Ford Mustang Description:
1984 Ford Mustang Automobile, Hi, I am selling this car for my son, this car was bought for him as his first car. That was last year, he needs college funds and that is the only reason he wants to part with this car. The car is in very very good shape. Only damage to it that I can see is the passenger side back trianglewindow is messed up and does not want to roll up and down the right way. There is some mold broken on the out edge around the window. The condition of the car itself as far as rust goes, well there is none. Look at the pics, you can see there is no rust around the back or the fender walls, none on the door edges or even on the hood or truck. The body is very very nice and has no bondo at all. The paint to my knowledgeis originaland excellent for the age and location of this car. My son is the second owner also. I also took several pics of the under body. It is so nice underneath with hardly any rust to the floor panels or the channels were the curves follow. There is some shielding that has somerust but those parts are not part of the body of the car. Should not spoila good deal at all. They are bolt on items that can be removed and replaced. You will need to do very very minor body work if you can find a reason to do it on this car. I do see some very very small but clean paint chipping. just a couple. There clean meaning they are fresh-like and not rusted. No paint bubblingany were. meaning no rust forming under the paint and swelling. This is a 3.8 V 6 motor and the transmission shifts very very well. I looked under the hood, The battery failed during the course of this winter and will not take a charge. I planto replace it with a new battery as soon as I receive payment for the car. It is such a simple thing to buy and replace. Should not be a sale breaker at all. I noticed that the break lines are original and have not been replaced nor are they rusty or rusted out. I did replace the radiator. It is new and it was done professionally and correctly and winterizedcorrectly as well. Cat converter looks to be original to me, check the pics to see if im correct on that, I only say that because from there on back to the tail pipe has been replace. I see original fuel lines, fuel pump and these kind of thing are or have not yet failed These things are not rusted out and corroded either. Its all in very good condition and I dont see any signs of them failing any time soon. For the most part all original still. I see yellow heavy duty Monroe shocks in the back. Theystill have paint on them and well, they look pretty good. I did not replaced them but that is what they are though.The relay starter switch on the fender wall has been replaced. That part needs to be from over time, it goes bad. Just like tuning a car, needs to be done. It is automatic, I do have the cover for the convertible when it is down. I also have a new car cover for it too. I will get pics of that soon here, the top is original too and there are not tears in it and it works like it should when you press the button to do so. Very much operational and original. Wheels are new and awesome, the rims one or two are showing some super light rust spotting towards the center. I plan to clean that up here in a day or two. Rubber is awesome. This will be a great gift man seriously. I have seen people spend more money on vintage toys thatwhat I am asking for this car in the shape that it is in. No dents at all. I will look again to be sure and tell every one to stay away, I promise you that. The stereo is not original, it has been replaced with one that has bluetooth. Speakers are original. Look, you will be completely responsible for transportation of this car for any one for any occasion. I am offering it up for my son but I do not want to have a part in that. The car is here at my house, I live in a neighbor hood with just a few houses on my street. Call a company and have them come to house and pick it up. I dont mind. The car is not brand new and has not been restored either. Has had some repairs as I described and there still might be a few things that I have failed to notice that you might. My son is going into his last year of high school and is starting to understand his direction for college and this sale is just a small part of the process and the funds for this car will go directly for that purpose.
