1988 Ford Mustang Saleen Description:

Up for Auction is my 1988 Saleen Mustang #329 with 58,930 original miles in excellent condition. Scarlet Red with red interior and gold graphics, 1 of 1 documented from Saleen. I am the 4th owner of this car. All original single stage paint and interior in amazing condition. Very rare car; 708 Saleen Mustangs were made in 1988; 549 were hatchback and only 5 Saleen Mustangs were made with a red interior and this is most likely the only one left. Car is mostly stock condition and has all original Saleen parts as delivered from the Saleen factory including original Racecraft suspension, original Strut Tower brace, Hurst 5 Speed shifter, Saleen Leather Shift knob, Momo Veloce Steering wheel, flo fit seats and specially ordered when new with 3:55 gears. Comes with correct pioneer radio and equalizer. Car is very clean, in beautiful show condition and runs excellent.
Engine runs smooth, always had Royal Purple Synthetic oil changes. Pictures of the engine show engine is in stock form but there are a few modifications that were done by the original owner including GT40 Heads, Ford Racing Headers, Ford Mass Air Flow sensor (added to all Mustangs in 1989), aluminum drive shaft, dynomax mufflers, subframe connectors and smog pump delete. The catalytic converters are not on the car but I have them to go with the car. Recently, the car has gone through a full tune-up including new coolant, new Ford Motorsport radiator hoses, Ford Motorsport spark plugs, Ford Motorsport ignition wires, Ford Motorsport oil filter, new rear differential oil, and new rear brake pads. There is also new under hood insulation.
Everything works on this car, there are no problems and no leaks. This car has a clean title and never been hit. Overall, the original paint is smooth and mint condition with only a few minor touch ups on the hood, passenger fender and the A-pillar is showing signs of age with paint discoloration / fading (See picture). The Original Pioneer KEH-6050 Cassette Radio comes with the car but is missing the fast forward button. Overall this car is a true collectible and increasing in value. You will not find another one like this. It is after all documented one of one, grabs a lot of attention and has won awards at local car shows. It comes with the Saleen Owners Packet, Ford Mustang Owners Manual and receipts for recent maintenance over the last few years. Thank you for your interest.
