1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor Tribute
Listed we have a very nice vintage 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor restomod coupe.Original California black plates included with the car.This is a C code Mustang with clean and clear title in hand. It has recently received restoration work, and is in good running/driving condition.
The body is clean and straight with no rust. Body has a fresh coat of Pepper Gray Metallic with Jet black Lemans/GT500 stripes. Mustang has many new exterior parts and add-ons including: New Jet Black Raceline FR500 multi spoke wheels staggered 18x9 & 18x10.5 with brand new Dimax tires, new Shelby hood scoop, new Shelby side scoops, new Cobra gas cap, new billet grille, new taillight assemblies, new back up lamps, custom bullet mirrors, new emblems, trim and lettering etc...
The engine is a Ford 302 V8 runs great with no issues. Lots of replacement parts including: New Holley Avenger 670 CFM carburetor, Performer RPM Air Gap aluminum intake manifold, new MSD Pro Billet Distributor and ignition, new MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires, new MSD coil, new Duralast water pump, rebuilt Allstate battery. Engine is turn key, runs good and does not overheat. Exhaust is dual manifolds running into 2" glass packs, full length tail pipes and chrome tips. Transmission is a C4 three speed automatic. Shifts nicely through all gears.
The interior has been redone with new deluxe comfortweave upholstery, new woodgrain Cobra steering wheel, new door panels, new arm rests, new headliner, new dash pad, new center console, new carpet, new Pony floor mats new rear shelf tray with seat divider.
The brakes are manual drum all the way around. New brake shoes installed and work good with ample stopping power. Suspension is stock coil springs up front with leaf springs out back, new Monroe shocks installed front and rear. Mustang is equipped with power steering. New power steering pump and control valve installed. New fuel sending unit installed. Trunk is clean with new trunk mat, spare tire and cover.
