JUST BECAME A CLASSIC CAR - 25 YEARS OLD
1993 FORD RED PROBE GT HATCHBACK 2.5L DOHC 24V 94,000 miles. RUNS AND DRIVES FINE - CAR IS NOW 25 YRS OLD AND CONSIDERED A CLASSIC. SHARP LOOKING CAR. WAS REPAINTED ABOUT 8 YRS AGO - GARAGE KEPT. SEE ALL PHOTOS AND INFO PROVIDED.
Car belonged to my mother and has been garage kept, ran occasionallyin condo complex but has not been driven daily for 4 years. I will try to list all I know about car. The interior is very good, cloth seats, no rips or tears, clean, no cracks in plastic dash or door panels. It has a power driver seat with lumbar, power door locks, windows. (no key fob, we misplaced it in move probably can get a replacement one). The heat and AC work, radio, cd, antennaall work, there is a equalizer and subwoofer in trunk. Automatic transmission. The airbag light on dash panel is flashing.
The exterior has been repainted and it is good, some dings but no dents, some scuffs on back bumper corner and light scratches. The bottom passenger side spoiler has a crack in it (photo 22 & 23). headlights open and work, car has sunroof (we did not open it just in case but it was working) dome & map lights all work. Mechanicallywe do not know of any problems, it was a run about town daily driver before it was parked. It creaks a little in front. 3 of the tires are good / one is bald. The original rims are corroded and tires slowly leak at rim edge. Rims need reanodizing or replacing. Car is located in Chelsea MI (15 miles west of Ann Arbor MI) Local Pick up or buyer arranges shipping. No road insurance so it can be started and taken down driveway for test but not on open rd. Due to age sold as is. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. No Reserve Auction.
Very few Probes on US market, nice collectible car.
