1930 Ford Model A (NO RESERVE)

1930 Ford Model A Tudor Description:

This is a very nice 1930 Model A Tudor made in December 1929. It is MATCHING NUMBERS - Body and Engine
It is priced very reasonably for what it is, in a hope that a true Model A enthusiast will want it and can get it without any financial risk, as it will always be worth more than they payed for it. That's how I bought it, and I want to pas it along the same way, as this 87 year old car deserves it.
It was a 14 year original restoration by a life long enthusiast and it is EXTREMELY ORIGINAL. In fact, it is the most original Model A restoration I've seen. Lots of documentation.
It is an all steel body, correct Black rims like it left the factory, the correct 6v generator, only one brake light with the other fender never drilled and on and on; just like it left the factory. No added wiring, electronics-nothing tampered with.
Restoration was some years ago, so the paint is not perfect, it has patina, but it is nice from top to undercarriage, interior to engine compartment.
It has provenance ... we have records from the fella that restored it and photos of him with the car 30 + years ago- the car was given to a Model A museum/club in Detroit and latter came back to public hand. We have the whole story documented in Ford magazines.
About 600 miles since restoration. Lombard interior... in fact every part is high quality, no corners cut as it was a labor of love by the restorer and owner.
This car can compete at shows, but can be driven and enjoyed too, just like Ford intended. Everything works, I mean everything.
Runs and drives great... head was updated to High Compression for modern gas, but I still have the original in perfect shape. Car will run 65 + m.p.h flat out and cruises in the 50's nicely.
This is a real gem of a car, but I have too many toys, so I would like to see it go to someone who will really enjoy it.
I have $11,000 in receipts for the car that was done to make the car capable of being a real driver and not just a looker, and this was done after the full restoration which is valued at over $25,000 in the 90's. Things like factory correct carb adjusted for modern use, HC head for 20% power increase, balanced rims, brakes adjusted for modern use, front storage compartment for needed items, drivers seat adjustable rails to accommodate small to larger drivers that could never fit in a coupe have all been done. Just start the car and enjoy your cruise. Car will run 65+ m.p.h.
