1928 Ford Model A 2 door sedan Description:
This 1928 Ford Sedan is a local favorite. Car has been around for many years. Car is painted Wheatland Yellow Laquer. Hand rubbed no clear. Paint is showing patina in some spots. The car was picked for the DuPont Best Use of Color Award at the first Goodguys event in Hershey. The paint guys from DuPont couldn't believe that the car was painted in 1985. Hood and side panels were repainted by Richard Glymph and Ricky Lowman after the louvers were punched. I will be forth coming in the description of this car. It's a driver. It has some road rash. It handles excellent and stops straight. The engine has a great cam lope. The body is steel with a 5 and 1/2 inch chop. Rear window extended 1/2. The motor is an LT-1 Chevy 350 with a Manley stud girdle, a Lunanti cam, Edelbrock 2/4 carbs. Turbo 350 trans with B&M shift kit. 3500 RPM stall converter. Ford 9 inch rear with 3:73 gears. Lobeck Just A Hobby frame rails. 1932 frame. All windows roll down and front windshield pivots out. Amoretto ultra leather interior. German square weave carpet. 1965 Ford Mustang shifter. Magnum 4 in. Axle. So-Cal Buick finned brake covers with Wilwood discs. 1933 grille. 145/15 tires front. p285/70/15 Goodrich silver town radials rear. This is a real neat car. It has it's minor cosmetic issues as with most driven machines. I will be happy to discuss any questions that you might have. Feel free to contact me. Dave. 202-360-9107
