The transmission was professionally rebuilt by Mac Vanpelt and has less than 10 miles on it. This is an older frame off restoration and a recent refresh on Paint, some interior... panels, and a full new Lebaron Boney convertible top installed by a local high-quality shop. The car is in excellent condition and all original FORD chrome has been refinished and used on this car. According to the family owners of this car for over 37 years, it is all original FORD to the very best of their knowledge. It has the Banjo Steering Wheel, lighter, and original radio. it has the original 6-volt positive ground system with the addition of an electric fuel pump ( original mechanical pump in place) to ensure dependability. Original mechanical brakes . Special ground wire installed directly to the starter to provide maximum turn over power. This car starts in under 5 seconds on the coldest days! She is period correct Cordoba Tan paint scheme with Poppy Red pin strips and wheel color. It is a true roadster, (no window cranks) and it that way from the Ford factory.
