Ijust finished a rolling restoration on this beauty. I began with the intention of using this as a farm truck, but the paint turned out too nice. This truck was originally owned by a tire store in Southern California and was driven regularly for 35 years. Nothing has had a chance to seize up or deteriorate. The 360 FE motor, runs very well with a new 670 CFM Holley carb and electronic ignition. There is a little extra power from the big block with help of an Edelbrock intake manifold and full tube headers. It sounds great with true dual Flowmasters. The battery and cables are new. I used heavy gauge battery cables, so it spins over like a top. There are a couple of small oil leaks. The C6 automatic transmission is crisp. I recently hauled a small tractor without any issue. I wired up a trailer brake controller and 7 pin/4-flat trailer connector, so you don’t need any adapters. The brakes work well and the shocks are new. I had the interior reupholstered after the paint was finished. There is one small hole in the seat in the driver’s side seat. I forgot a nail in my pocket and it poked through the vinyl when I sat down. When I got the truck it had a horrible CD player and a cut up dash. All of that is gone and has been replaced with a factory appearing USA-230 radio from Classic Autosound, a wood grain dash bezel, and a new dash cap. The door panels, driver’s window regulator, and all weather stripping have all been replaced. The vent windows have been removed, cleaned, and lubricated. The windshield is new and the back window was removed for paint and has a new seal. The cab was finished out with sound deadening insulation and a new rubber mat. It smells like a new truck.The air conditioning is fully functional and blows cold with the original r12 refrigerant. I had the system rebuilt by a local shop. The heater core and blower motor are also new.I’m happy to answer any additional questions or send additional photos. Thanks for looking
