1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe Deluxe Description:

This is for a 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe.A Nice High Quality Street Rod that is Henry Ford Steel.
Highlights:
  • I built this car for the present owner... The body work, paint, and upholstery was done by local craftsmen.
  • This Street Rod was completed in 2005 and it has only been driven 1548 miles to date.
  • It has always been stored in a Climate Controlled Storage Facility and it's Black Paint and Clear Coat is in excellent condition.
  • It Performs and Drives Great!
Body:
  • This was an original car that was generally complete when it was found locally.
  • The body had some minor rust on it, but not bad enough that it required any major patch panels.
  • The body work on this car was farmed out to a local "old school" body man. He was a very patient craftsman that could do beautiful body work with a hammer, dolly, and a little heat.
  • The Body, Fenders, Doors, Trunk Lid, and Hood Assembly are all original Henry Ford Steel.
  • The Grille is original and it was repaired, straighten, andre-chromed.
  • The Running Boards are new steel with new rubber covers.
  • The Headlamp's, Horn's, Cowl Lamps, and Tail Lamps are nice quality replacements from Drake.
  • The Bumpers and Brackets are new replacements from Bumper Boyz.
  • The Roof was filled with metal and covered with black vinyl.
Interior:
  • This car has a Beautiful Custom Black Leather Interior.
  • The Front Seat is original and it was completely rebuilt and covered with Black Leather with custom pleats. It is adjustable with it's original hardware.
  • The Door Panels are Black Leather and they match the seat pattern and Arm Rests are also provided.
  • High Grade Black Carpet was installed through out the interior and into the upholstered trunk area.
  • The whole interior of this car was insulated.
  • The Dash is stock with an engine turned stainless gauge panel withStewart WarnerGauges.
  • The Tilt Steering Column is from ididit.
  • The Steering Wheel is a banjo-style that is covered in black leather and hasa V8 horn button.
  • The heating & cooling system if from Vintage Air. It is a "Super" Heat & Cool System that was designed especially for 1933-34 Ford street rods. This complete system has a special built aluminum compressor mounting bracket for a Ford Flathead V8 engine, along with a polished Sanden Compressor. The A/C and Heater lines were fabricated with Seamless Stainless Steel Tubing and then polished.
  • The Power Windows are electric and from Specialty Power Windows.
  • The Cowl Vent openswith a power cowl vent kit from Street Works.
Frame:
  • An Original 1934 frame that contains it's original Serial Number *18-505891* ... It is the VIN number on the current title.
  • The frame was cleaned, painted, and detailed.
  • Front and rear springs werere-arched, cleaned,painted and new parts were installed.
  • The Front Axle is Pete & Jake with cross steer components, a panhard kit, and disc brakes.
  • Rear Axle assembly is a Ford 8" with a 3.40 gear ratio. It has Pete & Jake components and new brake drums, wheel cylinders and brake hardware.
  • Steering Gear... New Vega Steering Box by Mullins with Pete & Jake mounting components.
  • Brake Parts... All new, and the Brake Lines are seamless stainless steel.
  • Electrical System... A 12 volt battery is mounted in the trunk with a master cut-off switch; A Polished 12 volt GM Alternator; A 12 circuit wiring assembly by Painless.
  • Fuel System... Polyethylene fuel tank with an electric fuel pump, regulator, and pressure gauge. The fuel lines are stainless steel Tubing.
Wheels & Tires:
  • Four Genuine Halibrand Polished Speedway Cast Aluminum Wheels.
  • Two - 14"x 6" Front Wheels with K/O Kits with Dimples, and with P195/70R14 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A Tires.
  • Two - 15"x 7.5" Rear Wheels with K/O Kits with Dimples, and with P225/70R15 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A Tires.
Engine:
  • A Built 59A Ford Flathead V-8 Engine...
  • The Boreis 3.2275" (.040" o.s.) The Strokeis 4.00" (A 1949-53 Mercury Crankshaft)
  • The total CID is approximately 262 cu.in
  • This was completely balanced.
  • This engine has a "Full-Flow Oil-Filter Kit" ... This kit was designed, manufactured, and sold by Mark Kirby ofMotor City Flathead's for use in Ford Flathead V-8 engines.
  • Mark Kirby modified a new Melling oil pump so when the oil is picked up it is redirected through a special ground and heat-treated plate on the bottom of the oil pump. Now,100 percent of the oil is directed out of the bottom of the pump through a bulkhead fitting to a "screw-on" oil filter adapter. The filtered oil is then returned to the engine in a direct route to the rear main and the main oil galley... You now have a Modern Oiling System, and the best system you can buy for a Ford Flathead V-8 engine.
  • The Center Main Bearing Cap in this engine has an "I-Beam" style Center Main Cap Strap/Support that was added. This Strap is used to help support the weak center main bearing cap.
  • New Aluminum Offenhauser Cylinder Heads.
  • Edmund'sCustom Aluminum Intake Manifold with two Stromberg 97 Carburetors that haveAir Cleaners with K&N Filter Elements.
  • Camshaft is a new Potvin Super 3/4 Grind by Mooneyes USA.
  • All valve train parts are new... Valves, Valve Guide Bushings, Valve Springs, Retainers, Keepers, and New Adjustable Tappets.
  • Ignition is a Ford 21A Crab Distributor with a 12 volt negative ground Ignition Module that wasbuilt by Jerry Jobe.
  • Cooling System... Walker Cobra Radiator with one front mounted blower type cooling fan, and one rear mounted puller type cooling fan.
  • No money was spared on this Flathead V-8 Engine!
Transmission & Clutch:
  • The Transmission is a Rebuilt 1939 Ford 3-speed Top-Loader with an open drive line.
  • The Flywheel is stock steel andit was resurfaced and it had a new ring gear installed.
  • The Pressure Plate, Clutch Disc, and Throw-out Bearing were new when they wer installed.
Exhaust:
  • The Exhaust Manifolds are Genuine Fenton Cast Iron.
  • The Mufflers, Exhaust Pipes, Tail Pipes, Clamps, Hangers, and Bolts & Nuts are Stainless Steel.
Other Features:
  • All Glass is new and tinted.
  • A 3-point Retractable Shoulder Harness / Safety Belt system.
  • Safety Door Locks for front opening doors.
  • A floor mounted E-Brake system.
  • A 3rd Brake Light.
  • A roll-down Rear Window.
  • An Am/Fm/CD Radio and Speaker system.
  • The outside Rear View Mirrors are "swan neck" polished stainless steel.
