1963 Ford Ranchero Description:

Here is a 1963 ford falcon ranchero that is 90% restored. this is a daily driver . engine was rebuilt last spring with only 650 miles now. was bored out, an is now a 269 cu in was a 260. still breaking in engine. 3 speed manual transmission on column. it has a new HOLLEY 2 barrel carburetor, new electronic ignition, new alternator 1 wire. new fuel pump, fuel line from tank to front of frame this is copper nickel line. also has new fuel tank with up date fuel return line filler neck has been relocated inside left of bed see picture. has new radiator, water pump & all hoses. has a new set of dolphin gauges & electric speedometer that is programmable. new tires 14'' with new beauty rings spiders & inner trim rings. inside front bed floor panel has been sealed, drill each corner for water drainage tubes. coated bed with HERCULINER bed protector. inside new floor pans, also coated with bed protector. cut out part of back panel behind seat for storage under front bed panel. under body frame structure very solid not rusted out like some others. truck came from NEVADA in 1979 to KNOXVILLE TENNESSEE. has all new rear leaf springs & bushings. new rear shocks, new exhaust system that has a nice rap sound. new wheel cylinders, drums, linings hardware kits, wheel bearings & seals front & rears all drums. all new copper nickel brake lines & rubber lines as well. the brake system is dot 5 silicone brake fluid. has all been completely rewired front to back & under dash, new retro power antenna with a new single speaker inside top of dash. also retro am / fm radio nice fitment. the windshield wipers work well, the heater has been completely restored with new defrost ducting. install a nice universal 4 way flasher unit. all the components work on this truck. it has new front & back windshield rubbers. all glass good. this truck has a lot of power gets up & goes.
And now to complete the restoration it will have to have new front end bushings they are dry cracked and possibleneed A- arm bushings it still drives & steers good. I do have new front shocks for it not installed yet. I have new headliner, wind lace, molded carpeting, custom made nice door panels, new sill plates, cat whiskers, vent glass rubber. all need to be installed, after door jambs have been painted.
