For sale or possible trade is a 53 Ford Crestline. The car has very nice solid body with a frenched antenna and headlights. The car has been tubbed and has a four point cage with harnesses for both seats. The engine is a 460, custom tube headers with 3 inch mufflers, trans is a c6 with a 2800 stall, rearend is a 9 inch with very streetable gears. Rear end has leaf springs, front end is original. This car is a street car not a race car. Paint is nice, does have scratches and chips here and there, could be touched up. Interior is what it is, basic ...but will clean up nicely. I received this car in a package deal from my neighbor who stopped driving it due to what I believe is a vacuum leak at the manifold. The engine was rebuilt a year and a half ago. The engine will start right up with no noises, but wont run long. I only bought it to get to the Chevy in the deal so I don't have a lot of interest in this car. Title is clear, you are welcome to inspect car prior to bidding. Witha little touch up paint a buff and detail the car, someone will have themselves a cool hot rod for the summer. Comes with a folder full of receipts.............. Look at the pictures and read the description before asking questions...............Will need a $250 deposit within 48 hrs of auction end and the rest in cash or wire . Lowered the reserve on the car, don't miss out. Someone`s going to get a nice car for the money. Per a couple question`s the car ran and drove fine prior to the issue it has now. The car starts right up but just doesn't stay running, not exactly sure why I have not looked into it. There is a phone number in the listing if you any serious interest in the car. Thanks
