Once again Top Shelf Reps offers up to the public this unbelievable custom Hot Rod. This time around, up for auction is this beautiful 1937 Ford Street Rod 2-door sedan. You can see from the pictures how cool this is. The car has won several awards including: “Top Street rod for Rapid City Downtown Association (over 200 cars entered), Mayors Choice at Hill City, SD, South Dakota Street Rod Association State Pick for River run” and many Top 5 awards. Everything has been redone, including the paint. The owner of the car has owned it for the last nine years and has thoroughly enjoyed driving it to car shows up to 3,200 miles without any problems. The paint on the car is a beautiful dark red (Dark Hunt Club Red) and the owner always gets compliments on the color. The car cleans up and shows very well, very good! The body was painted in 2015 with a base coat/clear coat. The body and running boards are all steel, the fenders are fiberglass. The top has been chopped 3” and the b-pillars are leaned forward. As you can see from the pictures, the door, trunk, and hood handles have been removed.
The tan leather interior is perfect! Look at the pictures and you will see that this cars interior not only looks nice but it is a very comfortable car for those long rides. The interior is clean, detailed and ready to go! All the gauges in the car work.
The Ford has a 350ci with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission which makes an enjoyable car to drive. The odometer is showing 39,150 miles of which only 2,500 have been added in the last year. The motor has a new RV cam and lifters, intake, carburetor, MSD distributor, high flow water pump and fuel pump. The owner also added a new complete stainless steel exhaust and mufflers. The Hotrod has air ride technology front and rear. A Flame River stainless steel steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage A/C and heat, Power steering, windows, seats, remote trunk and doors, VDO gauges, Kenwood stereo (AM/FM/XM radio and CD) and New American Racing Hopster Wheels with new Bridgestone tires.
