Featured here for sale here, for the first time ever, is a 1936 Ford all steel 5 window coupe. Total custom build utilizing a 2000 low mileage Corvette C5 Roadster as the foundation and then Modifying the Ford body to become a 36 Ford/Corvette with all the bells and whistles. It has Rear mounted transmission, ABS, A/C, Power windows,Power Door locks,Power seats, all the Amenities of a well optioned Corvette..traction control and even the Z51 Performance suspension option.The body was widened Approx. 4 inches, and as a result, Rear deck lid and hood has to be custom fabricated along with floors and inner support structure along with the hand made aluminum grille. Door catches, hinges(door and front end), firewall are of quality fabrication and welding built all by an experienced Aircraft builder .He had a landing strip at his home and I purchased the car about 8 years ago in his hanger from his son after his death. I have done some work on the car but,after owning it for the last 8 years, it not finished yet. I'm 68 and have decided to sell it as an 80% complete and running project to the next owner. The glass is all installed, the drivers door power window operates but the passenger side is fixed at present. I have the harness, motor etc.for that side Plus many other new items that go with the car. The power seats function. The corvette computers all function and display on dash all works.I am leaving the car in this state so the next builder can install the interior of his choice and possibly change out the dash if so desired and finish paint. It is now done in a satin grey and would need at least a couple block sandings to be ready for final 2 stage paint. This car is awesome quick and is mechanically very sound. You could even roadrace this car..The Donor Corvette only had around 30k miles on it. Hard costs invested are over mid $30's and near a couple thousand hours of labor spent to where she is today.Check out my Ebay rating, I don't think that in any way you will be disappointed.
