1969 Ford F-100 ranger Description:

1969 Ford F-100 Ranger two wheel drive, regular cab, long bed pickup. Original southern California truck with documentation. I am the third owner. Truck has 59,836 original miles. It has the original 390 ci 2bbl carb engine. The motor will need the timing chain replaced but I recently rebuilt the carb and replaced the plug wires with a set of MSD's. I also replaced the passenger side exhaust manifold gasket and both exhaust donut gaskets. The original 3 speed automatic transmission was rebuilt in 1985, It has a Dana 60 posi rear axle with 3:55 - 1 gears, new front and rear springs, new shock absorbers, new brakes front and rear including the rubber lines and rear wheel cylinders, 4 new Nokian all season radial tires plus the spare which is a bias ply recap on all five original rims. Includes two non stock hubcaps from an earlier year ford galaxie maybe. The truck appears to have been partially repainted in the past - poorly, and is missing some of the side trim as seen by the photo's. I have a couple pieces of the original trim behind the seat but they are pretty beat up and will likely need to be replaced. The original color is candy apple red.Truck has factory air conditioning, the belt was off but the pump spins freely as does the clutch on the pump so it may just need to be charged but should be rebuildable at the very least. Power steering, non-power brakes, aftermarket transmission cooler. The truck was originally used to mine uranium in southern California, the second owner ( A Woman ) purchased the truck, put a slide in camper in it and moved back to NY in 1985. At that time theTruck was placed in a barn and only driven once a year to go camping in Cape Cod Massachusetts. Truck was serviced at Jack Byrne Ford in Mechanicsville NY. I purchased the truck in june and have put about 400 miles on it since. It needs side mirrors, a front grill emblem, a carrier bearing and some small misc items adressed such as lube and re-attach the heater control cables, replace the windshield gasket, lubricate the door window regulators, the D / S vent window knob needs to be replaced, it will need a winshield washer resevoir / pump for the washers to work and the wires are hanging for the emergency flasher switch. Other than some small issues typical for a 48 year old vehical The truck is in great condition and you can drive it home. The body is impeccable with no dents anywhere, not even the grill or tailgate - You will not find a better original truck for this price anywhere period. All the lights work as does the cargo and interior lights, horn, heater, wipers, gauges, AM radio, the cigar lghter needs a new element. Truck comes with original screw jack, jack handle and lug wrench. Floormat may or may not be dealer installed but came with the Truck.The Truck comes with a bill of sale and TRANSFERABLE registration. vehicles in NY did not get "Titles" until the 1973 model year.
