1970 Ford Torino Description:

WESTERN COLORADO CAR
1970 base sportsroof torino original 302 car but now has a 351c 2v in it. Bad transmission was parked years back. NO TITLE NO TITLE WILL SELL WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY.
Will start out with the bad. The car needs quarters, decklid and drop downs and that's pretty much it. Bellhousing on transmission is cracked all the way around I was told this is why it was parked 17 years ago. No title bill of sale only. Missing a few odds and ends easy stuff to find. Rear window, door and door channel trim. The quarters have plenty of mud and the driver side is dented pretty good. I have the original green door panels, dashpad and seats in barn.
Now for the Good I drove all the way to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains for this car. The person I aquired it from had started taking misc parts off for his cobra. Swapped doors(not sure why these are rust free), took back window, package tray and some of the trim I mentioned above. This car is extremely clean, PERFECT COWL, PERFECT FLOOR PANS, PERFECT UNIBODY FRAME IN BACK AND FRONT. THE battery apron is even rust free.
I don't know how many of you have dealt with western cars but every bolt glides off these cars with no effort. You can keep chasing that gt or cobra and then begin the endless chore of finding, locating and repairing rust or you can start out with something clean like this. The cowl is beautiful as is the trunk floor and floor pans.
The car had some mechanical work done it appears to have a brand new full exhaust installed, I personally changed out the solenoid and starter before realizing how bad the bellhousing and transmission situation was. I did get the cleveland running, I'm sure the carb needs rebuilt and a tune up is in order.
