19880000 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer Description:

Up for your consideration is this 1988 Ford Bronco II. I have owned this Bronco II for 6 years now and believe it to be its 2nd owner. This Bronco II as you can see is the Eddie Bauer Edition and has the distinctive two tone paint and special seat fabric. It starts and drives strong. Just a wonderful car to drive. The interior is probably as clean as you will ever see for a 30 year old vehicle. The steering wheel is in new condition with no wear on it at all, I changed the original which had some fading to the dye with a Ford factory new old stock wheel. Once again please see for yourself but the interior truly is in fantastic condition. It has been garage kept by me and maintained. I have probably driven the vehicle less than 400-500 miles each year.
The exterior was recently detailed and the paint looks amazing. As you can see in the photos the everything is reflecting off of the paint! It does as described have a few minor spots where some rust has formed. It takes nothing away from how nice this bronco really is. Muffler was replaced when I purchased the vehicle and still looks clean underneath. Recently replaced the striker bushings for rear tailgate (they are plastic and the old ones cracked) and it opens and closes smooth with no issues. New wiper blades. Tires are good with lots of tread.
As to faithfully describe the vehicle to the best of my ability I will describe a few of the other minor issues. The push button 4x4 is currently not engaging. Typically with the BII's you press the button and you hear the relay click and the light on the upper panel turns on. When the button is pressed nothing happens. It could be the switch or possibly a connection that is loose. I will attempt to look into it but letting you know of the situation. The 4x4 has been working perfectly up to this point but honestly I rarely engage it and think maybe a contact or connector needs to be cleaned. The AC compressor works however there is a leak in one of the lines. I did recharge the coolant and the AC worked great but once the refrigerant escaped it wasnt blowing cold. The heat however works great. The old ford factory radio isnt working 100%. The cassette works great but the radio stations are a bit static sounding. I checked and the antenna is connected to the radio. I think it needs to be refurbished. The speakers do all work the fade from front to back and left to right also works. The lights also have gone out on the radio. I do have another ford factory radio that I will include with the vehicle which may be working 100% If time permits I will test and install. Lastly its more of a cosmetic blemish but the top of the vinyl section of the dash is a bit faded with a minor crack in the vinyl. This is very common with these bronco II's I did hunt down and find a perfect replacement dash thats not cracked it is red however but with the proper vinyl dye it could be color matched and installed and you would have a perfect mint dash. I will also include this with the vehicle.
Additional extras that I will include are a very nice high quality car cover that I purchased new when I got the Bronco II. I also have brand new old stock center cap wheel emblems to replace the ones currently on the wheels.
I have nothing to hide and will answer all questions any bidder may have. I will help in all aspects of the sale. I want the buyer to be happy and have the same enjoyment out of this Bronco II that I have had for the past 6 years. It truly is an amazing example of an 88 Bronco II that is approaching 30 years old. By its age its going to have some issues like the ones that Ive described but the positives far outshine the few minor issues that ive described. I have more pictures if needed. I will also be uploading some video of the car being started and with the engine running. Buyers looking to have the vehicle shipped must make all arrangements but I will help with everything I can on my end. I have tried to include links to you tube videos of the car running but Ebay will not allow it. I can share those links upon request.
As this is a used vehicle it is being sold AS-IS with no warranty and with the sale being final. $500 dollar deposit via paypal at auction end.
I reserve the right to cancel the listing at any time as the vehicle may be sold locally before auction ends.

Wanted to note that there are 3 videos that I posted to YouTube. Please search for "bronco ii jorge anzaldo" youll see a walk around video and two videos of the engine starting and running. I also wanted to point out that this is a smoker free car. So the interior is nice and fresh. Additional photos can be seen via google drive link. Please pm me and I will forward the link to the shared folder.

Had some additional time to look around for other spare parts that I have that I will include with the vehicle. These are parts that I purchased shortly after buying the Bronco because I wanted to have spares just in case. So included with the vehicle will be a bunch of various switches and controls. There is too much to list but some of the most notable are the cruise control buttons, defrost, rear washer, and heat and air controls.

I also have a full set of controls and bladders for the power / air lumbar system. This also includes the pumps for both sides. I have another center console panel. This is the panel with the lights that tell you if you have a tail light our or have low fuel etc. I also have the power lock mechanism for the rear, the front door window motors and rear wiper arm motor. There is more or less some extra goodies that I have.
I basically after buying the truck went to local scrap yards looking for spares because I wanted to keep the car forever so figured it would be good to have extras on hand just in case. I never needed them but figure I will pass them on to the next owner.
I also have the Haynes repair manual for the car.
