1955 Ford Country Sedan Description:
This station wagon has aa V8 engine, possibly a 315 cubic inch engine with an automatic transmission, manual brakes and steering. It only starts in neutral. The interior dash is in excellent condition, seats still in pretty good condition, but the head liner is now toast.Recently put $5 K in repairs to the brakes, carb. and some other stuff, but the car runs and drives well. Tires need to be replaced.
This Country Sedan was bought brand new by my Step-Dad in 1955. Originally purchased in Fairbanks AL, it traveled with him throughout his life. It went to Anchorage Alaska, Kona Hawaii, Middleton Idaho, and then to Bouse Arizona where it was for 10 years. Now it is in Seattle, WA.
