1965 Ford Mustang fastback Description:

52 yr. old survivor. All original except steering wheel replaced when broken by mechanic while fixing directional signals. Orig. family/owner. 88,275 miles. Less than 400 miles since engine rebuild. Factory front disc brakes, quick steering ratio, and beefed up front anti-roll bar package. Spent entire mileage in So. California except when auto-transported to Missouri and less than 400 miles there. Never driven on snow nor salted roads. No rust. No accidents. No dents. Clear title. I am the original driver. Ordered it new from factory in April 1965 and drove it until 1970 when I left for medical school and gave it to my mother who drove it until 1995 and gave it back to me. Always garaged since 1970 (left for med. school). Not registered since 1995. 400 miles since rebuild in 2010 (drove it around the block regularly to keep it lubricated). Passed Missouri state safety inspection this year. Paint in very good condition but very slight color difference on hood and trunk but definitely original (methlcellulose paint effect?). Interior is in good/very good condition for 52 y.o. car. The plastic in the dash instruments has some yellowing. Drives very well. About 400 miles on the tires. Glass in good condition.
