1966 Ford Mustang fastback 2+2. Factory 289 2V C-code. Rare factory Wimbledon White (option code W) with red interior (option code 25). This is a stunning color combination... The original door tag confirms the factory color combinations and options. 150,000 original miles. Power steering. I purchased the car out of a private car collection from the second owner. He rarely drove the car during his owner ship. A lot of time and money has gone into the preservation of this car. This car is about as original as you will ever find... Completely original and numbers matching low mile survivor. Numbers matching 289 2V motor and C-4 automatic transmission.
The original interior is in near mint condition. Perfect headliner, door panels and dash. New carpet. The front seats were reupholstered with reproduction seat upholstery in the factory color. New front seat cushions. Original working factory mustang radio. The original rear seat upholstery is exceptional as seen in the pictures.. All electrical, gauges, and interior lights work.
Very solid, dry, and rust free car. This car has never been in any accidents as well as never needed or had any rust repair. All the body panels are original as well as all of the factor spot welds. The Mustang was delivered new in Utah and stayed in the dry states of Utah then Arizona in till 2016. The car has been garaged its entire life. There has been one re-paint of its original color of Wimbledon White over 10 years ago. The paint shows very well with only minor rock chips, imperfections, ect. There is no rust on this car and no signs of rust any were. All vin numbers and door tags are in place. Rare 14 inch deep dish reverse offset Shelby type steel wheels (original hubcaps included). I like the minimalist sporty look with the deep dish steel wheels. The car is pictured with a red pin stripe and with out. I decided to install a red pin stripe to compliment the cars body lines. The pin stripe can easily be removed if desired as it is only a decal. The undercoating is in excellent condition and has done a great job of preserving the undercarriage from rust. New Toyo high performance tires. I chose to mount the black wall out, however the tires have white walls as well. New gas tank and sender. Perfect door and body lines/gaps.
Under 30k miles on the rebuilt motor and transmission. New battery, recently rebuilt/resealed carburetor. All new belts, hoses, and fuel lines. New KYB gas shocks. The brake system has been recently rebuilt as well. Recent alignment. All of the front end bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints are excellent and have been replaced recently. The steering is tight, the brakes are excellent. New gas tank, fuel sender, power steering pump, electronic Petronix ignition, water pump, radiator, thermostat, alternator, chrome valve covers and air cleaner (original valve cover and air cleaner included). New brakes front and rear, new wheel cylinders, master cylinder, rubber brake lines, and freshly greased wheel bearings. The car does not leak or drip oil. Fresh complete tune up. The car runs, drives, and looks The motor always starts immediately.

This Mustang needs nothing. I have tried to high light the main parts of the restoration/preservation, however there is much work that has been done that is not listed. One of the best investment grade low mile survivor Mustang fastbacks on the market.
