We found this car, through a friend, in a garage surrounded by piles of junk. We never met the previous owner. What we do know about the car is as follows. It was sold through a Barrett Jackson auction for $70,000 sometime prior to 2010. In July of 2010 there was an attempt to steal the car resulting in a failed attempt to drive it through a chain link fence. We have the newspaper article with pictures of the scene. An attempt to restore the car was at some point abandoned and it was placed in storage. In August of 2016 we began a renewed restoration process and it was finished with a complete exteriorpaint job in August of 2017.

Vehicle may be sold prior to the end of the auction. Seller reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

1.The winning bidder is required to contact seller within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

2.If winning bidder does not contact seller and submit deposit within 24 hours of auction close, vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis.

3.For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
