1927 Roadster Pickup

1927 Ford Other Pickups Description:

1927, Lakes Roadster Pickup, Steel Body, with the exception of upper hood & Radiator shell, Home built frame, Older Build, 2.3 Ford 4 cylinder motor manual 4 speed transmission, Motor Runs good, does smoke when you first start it. This car will need a little work, from sitting, Car will start, Run & drive. It is currently Licensed & Insured. Arkansas Title, I have owned this car a little over a year, I have replaced the waterpump with a new one, cleaned the carburator, bled brakes, & clutch slave. Brakes are not right, but shoes look new on front & back. Wheel cylinders are good, probably a bad master cylinder, clutch slave loses fluid over a period of a week or 2, depending on how much you drive it, would probably be a good idea to replace master cylinder & clutch slave cylinder. Everything on car was yellow. What is Black now has been sanded down rearend, trailing arms, rear frame, front a-arms & frame to bare metal, painted Low Gloss Black. Still lacks a little, on rear of front a-arms, was going to sand body down & paint it Satin Black but haven't found the time. This Car would look like a completely different car if done this way. Engine bay & firewall has been Refinished. The wheels & tires are new, less than 50 miles on them. American Racing Torque Thrust 2' s 15x10" rears, 15x5" fronts. 275/60/15 rear tires. The car is an Old School Build. Does have Rack & pinion front steering, paint is weathered, has some scratches & peeling. Interior is Descent. This car is not perfect ! It is a fun Driver car, it will need some tinkering with. Bring a trailer, I wouldn't suggest driving it 100 mile trip before doing some work on it. I drive it to & from work about 30 miles round trip, but it needs some attention. I Do have a reserve on the car, I am not going to give it away. This is a Cool Car ! If it meets the reserve you will have the choice of taking it like it is, or if Buyer doesn't want the wheels & tires when car is picked up I will knock $800 off the final winning Bid, & buyer can bring his own wheels & tires. This is totally up to the Buyer. Remember, This car is not Perfect. I have Represented this Car as good as I know how to. I Am selling this Car As-Is, No Warranty.
