The introduction of the Mustang in 1964 created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition including Camaro, Firebird, Cougar and others.

The restored 1966 correct Springtime Yellow Mustang at Carlynns Clean Classics is painted a beautiful yellow 2-stage paint with black racing stripes, Shelby hood scoop & Shelby side panel stripe package, billet grill,and Mustang convertible power top.

The Mustang’s engine is a 289 cu in that was rebuilt with a 4 bbl carb w/headers, new exhaust with trumpet mufflers and tips, and automatic transmission w/shift kit.

Restoration on this Mustang is extensive. REFRESHED interior w/NEW CARPET, NEW DOOR PANELS, NEW DASH COVER & period correct black bucket seats w/center console, radio w/cassette player, and wood steering wheel.
