1969 Ford Ranchero 500 Description:

A really nice solid 1969 Ranchero 500. I bought the car recently but I am selling the car because we are buying a house and need cash. The actual mileage is unknown as the instrument panel was changed a few times.It comes with some of the original paperwork. The car sat for a long time and needed the entire interior replaced. The rear floor pans were repaired and are now solid, no frame rust, Great running original to this car numbers matching 302 with RAM AI, new Edelbrock Performer aluminum manifold, new Edelbrock 1404 4 barrel carb, new Pertronix distributor and coil, chrome valve covers, new water pump with all new hoses, 50 PSI oil pressure, no knocks, smoking or leaks. Hood scoop is OEM with working turn signals, working hood tach, B&M floor shift, correct floor shift steering column with working turn signals and horn, Thunderbird bucket seats, drivers side is power 8 way adjustable and works great. Great working C4 transmission, shifts solid, no leaks or clunks. Power steering, Power disc brakes, they are a little sticky from sitting so long so you might have to clean them out, dual exhausts, New Grant steering wheel, underdash gauges, all the instrument panel lights are LED so you'll never have to change light bulbs again, brand new ACC carpet, "Ranchero" embroidered floor mats, new kick panels, carpeted drop curtain . The car comes with a new USA-4 satellite radio, AM/FM/CD etc etc., I can remove the satellite stuff if you dont want them.
The car has original paint, I was going to repaint it but the more I looked at it the more I liked the patina and sweaty look .The bed is in good condition, the storage area under the bed is not all rusted out like most are, the only bad spot is the passenger lower front fender which has an old repair that is cracking and bubbling, will be very easy to repair. The headliner split a seam at the front and is tucked in. All the glass is good, no cracks or chips, the windows go up and down fine, delay action wiper control, all new interior door handles and cups, new armrests. All the controls work, heater motor works fine, unsure of the wiper motor, it worked then stopped may just need the connections cleaned, Remote operated drivers mirror and matching passenger side mirror, new interior mirror . The two front tires are brand new, the rears are in very good condition, very good condition spare tire included.Comes with new replacement turn signal lenses, new Ford weatherstripping, replacement drivers front trim spear and a box full of take-off parts.We have been having extremely hot temps but the car never got over 190. I try to be as forthcoming as possible when describing cars I sell but ss with any car that is nearly 50 years old and hasnt been driven in a ling time unexpected things can pop up as you use the car, you will need to tweak, tune and do the finish work. the car is priced accordingly.
