1974 Ford Bronco Sport Wagon
I am the second owner, this has been my daily driver for 7 years, has been well maintained, runs and drives well, everything works as it should. Engine rebuilt in '92, many parts replaced over the years, see below. Have records including years of receipts from the original owner. Its in original/well maintained condition, except the original owner had the rear fenders cut when he bought it in ’74. Still has the country wagon pin stripes which were an option with the Sports package in '74. Gets a lot of attention and offers, truck is kind of a celebrity everywhere it goes. Dont want to sell it but am parting with it and another classic car I saved over the years to help buy a ranch property.
Engine/Trans/Mileage/Susp/Tires: Original 302, automatic transmission, power brakes and power steering. Odometer shows 70,108 miles however its 170,108. Engine rebuilt in '92, at 132,651 miles, has just less than 40k miles on rebuild, does not burn oil or leak. Runs very well. I take it LA once in a while (60 miles in traffic) and has no issues on freeway or roads. Every moving part on this truck has been replaced over the years, have all records, many in the last 5 years. New motor mounts 4 years ago. Exhaust and pipes replaced 3 years ago. Handles nice, power steering rebuilt, new stabilizer, ball joints, and brakes 4 years ago. New wheel bearings 3 years ago. New springs/front shocks 2 years ago, stock height. BFG tires are about 4 years old however a lot of tread left.
Interior: Mostly original, both front seat covers need replaced, I put old t-shirts over them however original Bronco seat covers are easily available. Rear seat in ok cond., was recovered about 5 years ago, it is removable if you want to use the Bronco as a truck. I removed the original carpeting and floors are in good condition, little surface rust on driver side, but in pics the color is from carpet glue. Did not want to cut the dashboard for a new stereo, so installed an under dash stereo with iPhone / bluetooth, phone/mic, USB and aux jacks, and sounds good. The original AM/FM radio is MIA but they are available on eBay if new owner wanted put something there - found several 70's orig bronco radios. If I find it in garage I’ll include it.
Roll bar - About 3 years ago I purchased a 4-point roll bar/cage from Toms Bronco parts, it’s included. Was never installed. It was is shipped in parts and will need to be welded together - see pictures.
4 wheel drive: Works great, its run on a dirt road every couple months.
Top: Original white top has liner, hatch works well, have original key for latch lock. Includes the interior canopy with light. The visors and wiper motor are installed on the Bronco now and not separate so disregard them in picture. I can install the top or keep it, just let me know. I keep the Bronco in garage so have never needed the top. Also has an older gray colored bikini top which is included.
Body: Solid body, paint is original Ford “Wind Blue”, and has been painted over in some places. Truck has been in one fender bender - passenger rear corner was hit and repaired by a body shop. Some paint original and some places touched up where paint faded over years. I intended on having it repainted at some point. Had the rear fender flares replaced, originals were pretty bad.
Price: Offers are accepted and I will respond to all, need to sell Bronco and another classic car I have to help buy a ranch. I would keep this truck if the cash deposit was not required, this is an awesome truck.
