OK - Falcon lovers - here is one of the NICEST 1961 Ford Falcon Futuras that you will ever see. This vehicle underwent a complete restoration several years ago by the previous owner. This Falcon Futura was the first attempt by Ford to "spice up" the Falcon line - the Falcon chassis was the basis for the 65 Mustang - and you can easily see that family resemblance in this car. This car was equipped with the upgraded 170 cu in 6 cylinder and 2 speed Fordamatic automatic transmission. Of course the Futura option package came with the bucket seats and console - a first for the Falcon line.
This car is a solid #2 - the Hagerty value guide has it valued at that level at $15,200. This car needs NOTHING. Chrome is excellent and near perfect. The paint is not show quality, but it is in great condition. This car is a solid and conservative #2.
