1963 Ford Galaxie 300 Description:
Starts up and runs smoothly every time. She was my everyday driver for awhile but decided it wasntright, I needed to finish a few of the projects I had already started.
Alternator replaced generator 7-15new starter 2-17electronic ignition replaced points 11-16wiring harness under dash3-17New oil pan 10-14Conversion to disc brakes from drum (previous owner)
Alternator installed due to power consumption the generator could not keep up with. Also included are a set of exhaust manifolds, a spare 2100 carb that needs a kit, and a box of inside trim I haven't had time to install along with the headliner.
She needs a little aTLC as she is a a 54-year-old vehicle. This would make a great first-time starter project, as everything is already working, just needs some touch ups and tuning.
No smog required in California which is great, and no seatbelts either. It was built prior to seat belt laws so you don't need to modify. Lap belts installed in back seat.
This is a great car and fun to drive. This is also the old Interceptor model used by law enforcement. I have this set to auction with no reserve. I priced it low to start to give everyone a shot. I hope it goes to someone that enjoys the Galaxie for many years to come.
