1992 FORD EXPLORER XLT 4x4 Automatic Transmission

1992 Ford Explorer XLT Description:

Selling my old truck. This vehicle was registered up until last week. Have found replacement and so this one got to go.
The truck is in full running condition, but corrosion and NY winters have taken its toll. I have not been able to pass NY inspection due to front end (tires have some play - ball joint?). Engine runs good and and burns very little oil but shows exterior corrosion ( on freeze plugs). Many exterior parts like bumpers, grill and glass, 4x4 components are decent, like I said truck was driven up until recently.
Although drive-able, I don't think this vehicle is safe long-term and I don't recommend/advise for every day driving.
What I am offering is the transmission that was restored and rebuilt some time ago. It is in 100% running condition. Shifts forcefully, no slips, jerks or hang ups in high gears. If you are interested in the transmission please check out this vehicle. The condition can be verified because it is in the running truck. This is the advantage point I am offering, instead of buying one that has been sitting on a junk yard shelf for who knows how long!!!
