1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, Factory A/C, Automatic, NO RUST

1965 Ford Mustang Description:

Selling a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, with 53,xxx miles that as far as we can tell are all original.
We are the third owner of this car, the previous owner has had it garaged at least as far back as 1993, and we have kept it garaged as well. This is a BEAUTIFUL unrestored, unmolested, original specimen. It is the original burgundy color with a white interior.

The exterior is in great shape. 8.5/10 It has been painted sometime in the past, but is the original color. The paint could use a good buffing, there are some swirl marks, a few nicks and fine scratches but overall very good condition. No rust bubbles or evident bondo. The undercarriage appears to be dealer undercoated when it was bought in 65, with no rust whatsoever!
The interior is excellent. 9/10 Appears to be all original. No tears in the vinyl bucket seats or carpets, no cracks in any of the plastic, headliner is mint. Some of the chrome pieces show some minor pitting but have a great overall shine. The dash is not cracked but starting to ripple, new ones are very cheap. Windows, vent windows, back windows roll up and down as they should with no issues. Previous owner installed an aftermarket radio in the trunk, with a wired control in the cabin. Original radio is unmolested. I cant figure out how it works but it all appears to be there. The A/C will need a recharge or a conversion, but all parts are there and in working order.
Mechanically in great condition. Engine has good compression, no leaks, no smoke, cranks instantly and runs smoothly. New tuneup and new water pump. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, engages well in all settings. I rebuilt the front brakes, all the way down to the back plates. (drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders, bearings and seals). The power assist for the steering will need some minor adjustments.
This is an excellent, clean, rust free car. It is an OLD CAR. It does not drive, steer, stop, or ride like a modern car. Its a 6 cylinder, it cruises along just fine and will get out of its own way, but its not a hot rod, dont expect to be doing burnouts in the parking lot with it. I have been very honest about this car and its very few flaws
