1929 Model A Ford Coupe
1929 Ford Model A Description:
1929 Model AI bought this car as an older restored car about 5 years ago.
Pulled the body off and dropped it on a TCI Stage 3 Chassis.
4 link, 9 inch posi 3:70 rear, coil overs tubular control arms, stainless brake lines.
The frame, rear axle, spindles are painted gloss black.
The bumper brackets, running board brackets, wheels, trailing arms, upper and lower control arms are powdercoated.
I did not want to cut the original body so I installed a Ford 2.3 Turbo charged engine out of a Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.
The engine has been rebuilt by Mid Cape Machine of Hyannis.
The engine has been bored 30 over and has a ford ranger roller cam, forged pistons.
It has a cometic head gasket and the head have studs holding it in place.
The engine is painted the model a green, the majority of the brackets, intake, valve cover has been powder coated.
The radiator was made by Tirell radiator, it has a puller fan which more than cools the engine.
The inter cooler is designed to be in a 1992 Toyota Mr 2, fits this great.
The transmission is a world class t-5 out of a Ford Thunderbird turbo coupe, it has an hydraulic clutch system.
The drive shaft was made by Cape Cod Axle nice piece.
The exhaust it all stainless steel from the head to the tail pipe 1 to 2, 4 inch to dual 2.5.
The wheels came from the wheel smith, custom sized and they were powder coated at that location.
Interior is Le-baron Bonnie with the rumble seat, excellent condition (it does need a carpet have rubber floor mat installed right now configured for the factory model a).
Lokar gas pedal assembly Hurst short shift, stainless steering column from wheel to box.

The drive train and chassis has about 5 k on it.Some pics show car during construction.
Not sure about the body, that was redone about 10 yrs before I bought it.
