For Sale: 1989 Ford Econoline E-Series 150 Van
We purchased this van in Pittsburgh, PA two years ago as an extra vehicle, and are only selling due to lack of use. It has only been driven a handful of times since we originally drove it back from Pennsylvania. Our loss is your gain! Great vintage conversion van, in fantastic condition!
Exterior is in good shape.Practicallyrust free, except for very minor dent on driver's side door (probably about the size of a half dollar.) Other than that, the body looks really good and well maintained for a 1989. Very comfortable to cruise in. Interior is in excellent condition, and comes complete with four captain's chairs, a rear bench that converts into a bed, and has a cooler built right into the floor. One of the plastic trims around one of the rear windows is cracked, causing the window blind to fall. Overall though, looks great for its age. Tires are good, and still have a lot of life left in them.
Recently replaced map sensor and the throttle position sensor. A/C comes on, but has a lower charge (easily fixedwith a recharge.) Heat blows warm. This van can easily be a daily driver, but will need a few minor things fixed. We just unfortunately do not have the time to spend on it. It is in absolutely great shape for it's age, and has very low original mileage.
Things that will need to be addressed by interested parties: Both front power window motors will need replacing, and front gas tank operation (we only ran the rear tank when driving it.) The radio volume issporadic, and it would probably be best to be replaced and updated. This van is a great vehicle, and with a little bit of TLC can be perfect! Seats about 7 people.
Currently unregistered due to non use, and current inspection sticker is from 2016. Again, this is just because it hasn't been used. Brakes have been tested, and still have life left inthem.
