1976 Fiat 124 Spider 1800 – 76,818 miles

We have owned this vehicle for 25 years and used it very little (less than 7k miles) and it is time for it to go to a new owner.

It ran and drove OK when we initially purchased it, but it needed: brake service, carb rebuilt, fuel pump replaced, some minor body work and painted again (I think it has had 3 total), carpet & roof replaced.

In the last 2 years it has had: new 13” wider stance tires installed on previously upgraded wheels (but are a bit shorter than before), plugs/wires/cap/rotor/points/condensers/coil, and a new battery.

Always starts up (need to allow fuel pump to get fuel to front if sits too long without use), and all gears work, and the brakes work.

Includes extra used electrical misc. parts and some parts. Also includes a replacement dash that does not have a crack in it...we just never got around to swapping it. It has had the radio replaced along with the kick panels modified for speakers but the old kick panels are included.

And to keep as much above board as possible: the rear wheel arches and below the doors show some bubbles and the paint is only ok job when it was done. No known leaks or engine/transmission issues. Electric fan has on/off switch added to make sure it works correctly and no engine overheating (sending unit or sensor might need replaced, but beyond my knowledge.) It is a 42 year old Fiat and that means you will eventually need to work on it...just remember this is a classic automobile and will always need TLC, but you'll have fun too!!!

The extra dash is worth $500 or more on ebay!

NOTE: please contact me if you wish to pre-inspect...I am more than happy to accommodate your needs as best possible. It does not have legal plates or insurance though and not sure how to legally allow testing on the road – and “you break it, you buy it” applies.

I do recommend that you plan to tow/trailer it away because it has not been on the road in more than 2 years and bear in mind it is a vintage car and must be treated as such.
