This is a 1978 Fiat 124 Spider 2000
The car would make a great father and son project and needs minimal work to make it turn key. Details are listed below.

The car is a California car and has been sitting for a number of years. The engine does start and runs briefly with the aid of starting fluid, but won't keep idle.
The last time the car was driven a few years back the clutch felt great and the brakes stopped the car well
The engine runs clean and tight. There are no noticeable leaks, 0 smoke and did not overheat in the past
The structural points and integrity of the car is A+.
Aside from a small hole on the drivers floor pan the entire undercarriage shows dry and solid
The paint is old and looks original with various imperfections chips, nicks, dents, clear coat peeling, hazing etc(see pics)
The hood has various dents and imperfections, it will need replacement and we can source an excellent used hood for the new owner if he or she desires.
The odometer currently shows 10227 but due to the age of the vehicle and a 5 digit odometer we are unable to authenticate this reading as actual or correct
There is no major corrosion
The interior seating surfaces show wear and tear (see pics)
The soft top is complete however the plastic windows need to be replaced. New tops are inexpensive and readily available. The frame is good.
We were unable to test any of the other mechanical or electrical systems do to its non running status so bid accordingly.
