Fiat Spider 2000

1980 Fiat Spider 2000 Description:

Up for sale is a 1980 Fiat Spider 2000 that's in excellent condition for its age! It's fuel-injected, and I believe it was the first year that Fiat came out with the fuel-injected model, so it's definitely unique for its time. I've been driving it frequently since it just got out of the mechanic, and overall, its in decent, running condition. Here is a list of what I've done to the car ever since it's been in my ownership:
- New brake calipers
- New gas tank
- New hazard switch (a common problem among Fiat Spiders)
- New wiper motor
What I've noticed about the car recently:
- The car tends to overheat after awhile. It might be that I added coolant to the radiator, and I didn't let it cycle properly, but it'll definitely need attention
- Sometimes the car lets out a cloud of smoke from the exhaust when starting up. It might me normal, but I really don't know
The car will be sold as-is, but it can be said that it's stood the test of time. However, it will need more maintenance and even a partial restoration in order for it to be enjoyed in its full glory. It has a clean Texas title, so it's ready for its new owner.
