This is an opportunity for you to ownMY rare and special Ferrari! 1993 Ferrari Mondial T Valeo 1 of 18. The most notable Valeo equipped car is the Agnelli Ferrari F40, 1 of 1. I am not a dealer looking to make a windfall. I have service records totaling close to $40k during my ownership.
The Valeo system is theelectro-mechanical forerunner to the F1paddle-shift systems, without the use of hydraulics, making it much more reliable.
The system has a clutch assembly, but not a clutch pedal. You still shift gears manually, just like a fully-manual transmission, but there is no clutch pedal. When your hand touches the shift lever to switch gears, an actuator engages the clutch instead of your left foot. The system is absolutely brilliant! It engages the clutch and allows you to shift gears in milliseconds. Far faster than any human ever could!
The Valeo was only available on late 1992 and 1993 models (last year of production for the Mondial).
I have owned this car for 4.5 years and it has been an awesome experience. It comes with a ton of maintenance records from myself and additional recordsdating back to 2008 which should give the next owner peace of mind.
Last spring the car received an engine out major service, rebuilt shock actuators, CV boots, steering rack boots, and a full interior/exterior detail. As any Ferrari owner knows, these cars are only as good as their maintenance. Rest assured, this is not your typical maintenance deferred entry level Ferrari! The cheap cars are the ones that are most expensive!
