1988 Ferrari Testarossa Description:

This 1988 Ferrari Testarossa shows 28k miles and is finished in white over creme Connolly leather. Power is provided by a 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12, which is mated to a 5-speed manual transaxle equipped with a factory limited-slip differential. The selling dealer acquired the car 18 months ago and has driven it approximately 3k miles since. Engine-out servicing in 2016 included new timing belts, accessory belts, tensioners, rollers, valve cover gaskets, and more. The water pump and secondary air pump were also rebuilt, the brakes were bled, and the shift linkage was adjusted. In 2017, the seller serviced the emergency brakes, flushed the brake system, and serviced the air conditioning. This Testarossa is now being offered with the original window sticker, factory owner's manuals, records of recent services, a clean Carfax, and a clean California title.
The car was sold new at Steve Harris Imports in Salt Lake City, Utah finished in white. The MSRP was $126,600. A document from a detailer is included in the gallery, noting the results from paint meter readings along with an evaluation of the finish condition. No history of accidents or other damage is indicated by the Carfax report.
Aftermarket 16â€³ 3-piece wheels wear Goodyear Eagle tires, and a set of Ferrari shields have been added to the front fenders. The factory metric-sized centerlock wheels are also included. Standard equipment includes ventilated disc brakes all around, power windows and door locks, a limited-slip differential, and air conditioning.
The cabin is finished in two-tone, with creme Connolly leather seat upholstery, door panels, and headliner contrasted by a black dash and door armrests. The car retains a stock Ferrari steering wheel and gated shifter for the 5-speed manual gearbox. The air conditioning system was addressed during the 2016 servicing, and it received a recharge and new drier in 2017.

Creasing is visible on the driver's seat bolsters, and just under 29,500 miles are reportedly shown on the odometer, about 3k of which were added over the last year and a half following the engine-out work
The 4.9-liter DOHC flat-12 was removed in 2016 and was fitted with new timing belts, tensioners, rollers, air pump belt, fuel filters, alternator belt, coolant hoses, distributor caps, valve cover gaskets, and more as described on the invoices shown in the gallery below. Thesecondary air pump and water pump were also rebuilt, the clutch and brakes were bled, the coolant was flushed, and the shift linkage was adjusted.
Invoices and photos documenting this $11k of work are attached in the gallery. The cam covers were powder coated red at this time. 2017 maintenance performed by the selling dealer included new emergency brake hardware, a brake fluid flush, and new engine lid struts.
Owner's manuals and the original window sticker are included in a brown leatherbound folder, and the tool kit is pictured in the gallery.
