This is a REALLY nice example of a rarely seen car today. Even when new, the Edsel never quite met the expectations of Ford Motor Company so you saw few on the roads even then. Here we have a terrific example that somehow was able to survive when so few did.
Equipped with a 292V8 and an automatic transmission, even power steering was on the option list so this car is ready to drive and enjoy with little effort. Even has a SUPER RARE accessory windshield sun visor. Custom fit to the car. We have never seen one before..Lovingly cared for by all it's previous owners, this car was used primarily as a hobby car over the past several decades. Making sure and and all maintenance it needed was taken care of along the way. We have a lot of receipts to back up the claim. Not to mention, the condition of the car overall speaks volumes.
Beautiful paint and interior. Nice trim and chrome with just general wear. Extremely solid with a clean undercarriage and no serious rust. This car will turn heads everywhere it goes. Plus, everyone will assume you paid far more.
We just replaced the tires with correct, period wide white walls (radials) and had the paint professionally corrected and detailed. You could dive into this car it's that shiny. Not perfect, as the fuel gauge is inop and the rear main seal seeps a little oil (not bad) but these things you'd sort of expect for a 60+ year old car and none of it's issues hamper it's driving capabilities.
